Considering this was a “Holiday” cruise we took the day after Christmas through New Year, I was not all that impressed. Initially, decorations were all over the place, but they subtly dwindled until they finally disappeared halfway through the cruise. I was expecting to enjoy the holiday cheer a little longer. I do not feel that, in my price range, the extra cost of a “Holiday” cruise was worth it. We also paid for The Key, which offers additional benefits, including wi-fi and early embarkation. In my opinion, The Key is not worth it on the Explorer of the Seas, but I will try it again on the larger ships. One thing I always recommend on a cruise is the plastic room identifier for luggage. I use this one https://amzn.to/41J0AbG and have never had an issue with misplaced luggage on the ship.
